Do you know Carmel Secondary School well? If you do, you will know where this mystery place is.<\/p>\n
It is a peaceful and quiet location which all Carmelians know. It is also my favourite place in<\/p>\n
Carmel.<\/p>\n
In this location, green is literally all you can see. The tall trees are in different shapes: pointed,<\/p>\n
rounded, dome-shaped… The leaves sway gently back and forth, as if they’re playing with the<\/p>\n
wind. There is also a huge turf, where fallen leaves lie on. There is a rocky road for students to<\/p>\n
walk on so that they won’t step on the grass. There is also a staircase for students to step or sit<\/p>\n
on, while some students do their homework or simply rest at the stone tables. It is a very popular<\/p>\n
place for students to go to during exams and tests, since the silent environment helps them to<\/p>\n
concentrate more on studying.<\/p>\n
In addition, you can hear various kinds of sounds there. Birds chirp and sing with their sweet<\/p>\n
voice. Leaves rustle when the gentle breeze blows. Students’ laughing, chatting and revising<\/p>\n
voices can also be heard. Moreover, since the basketball court is nearby, you can hear the excited<\/p>\n
basketball players shouting and the balls bouncing. Overall, the sounds will make you feel the<\/p>\n
harmony and the cozy atmosphere there.<\/p>\n
Besides, I really love the scent there. The humble grass and the delicate flowers give off a fresh<\/p>\n
and relaxing scent that can brighten up your mood. Also, on some Friday nights, classes will have<\/p>\n
their barbecue in the basketball court. The aroma of barbecued food often makes my mouth<\/p>\n
water.<\/p>\n
