One night, I was awakened by the sound of distant thunder. As I opened my eyes, I found that there was a heavy rain outside the house. I was afraid, worried and missed my dad. I was afraid because I stayed at home myself. I was worried because my mother was working outside, and now it was twelve o\u2019clock at night, it was time for her to go home but she didn\u2019t bring an umbrella. I missed my dad too. Last year he was hit by lightning at midnight while coming back home. Since then, he never come back home again. At this moment, I missed him every much.<\/p>\n
Suddenly, there was a thunder again. At the same time, my dog barked loudly. I thought that it was afraid, then my dog suddenly turned quiet. I was curious, so I went to my dog. As the scene that I saw was very surprising, I nearly couldn\u2019t say a word. I saw my dog Cookie lying on the floor, motionless. I screamed,\u201d Cookie! Cookie! What happened? Wake up!\u201d But it just lay on the floor.<\/p>\n
As I wanted to shout again, Cookie suddenly woke up. Then, to my surprise, it spoke, and it was my father\u2019s voice!<\/p>\n
\u201cIsabella! Oh! My child! I miss you very much. You became more beautiful!\u201d My father voice came out from my dog. I was totally startled, and I said, \u201cFa\u2026 Father, is.. is that you?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYes. I entreated god for a long long time, and he let me come down for one hour! We have to treasure this period!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cDoes that mean your soul has come down? Oh! I miss you a lot!\u201d I exclaimed.<\/p>\n
\u201cHow is your study now?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOh! Guess what, I entered the singing competition and I got into the top 10 in my class!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cFantastic! How\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
We chatted and chatted, I was very happy because I really missed my dad very much! One hour passed quickly, and it was time for him to leave too! At last, he said, \u201cIsabella, I had to leave now! If I have a chance again, I\u2019ll go down to visit you and your mother again! Bye! I\u2019ll miss you!\u201d<\/p>\n
Then, a loud thunder boomed again, and my dog fainted again. After a few minutes, my dog woke up. And when it saw me, it barked. I realized that my father\u2019s soul had returned to the heaven.<\/p>\n
The rain stopped, and my mum came back. I told her what happened, she just said, \u201cWere you sleepwalking? Get back to your bed and sleep!\u201d I just smiled and went to sleep.<\/p>\n
