Dear Peter,
 I’ve been back to Hong Kong for a week already.  How’s everything in Madrid?  Did you enjoy watching Derby between Real Madrid and Barcelona?  It was a wonderful match.
 Peter, I’d like to tell you something that you must be interested in.  Hong Kong differs from 2008 a lot.  Have you visited Hong Kong before?  It used to be a concrete jungle.  The pollution problem was very serious.  It was extremely difficult to see the Hong Kong Island from the Kowloon Peninsula due to the hazy weather.
 Things have changed a lot now.  IFC, a towering commercial block in the business hub, Central, has no longer been the tallest building in this city.  Instead, it has collapsed.  I was flabbergasted when I visited Central on Christmas Eve.  Most of the skyscrapers have been pulled down while green areas are developed.  The survived buildings are just dwarfs, not giants anymore.  This is pretty good news as we can see Hong Kong’s beautiful views without any obstacles.
 Since the green areas have been developed, Hong Kong’s air has become fresher than before.  Other than this, the Hong Kong Government has also imposed restrictions on traffic flow to control air quality.  All of the cars have used electricity as energy source instead of using petrol.  That’s why I find it more comfortable than before when going outdoors now.  The air has turned good.
 Though Hong Kong’s environment does improve a lot, it is not perfect at all.  Light pollution and the sewage problem haven’t been solved yet.  However, as the saying goes, ‘Rome was not built in one day.’  I believe, my home city would turn better eventually.  We could see the starry night of Hong Kong and swim in the Victoria Harbour one day.
 It’s time for bed.  I’m seeing a movie with my girlfriend Polly tomorrow.  Tell me if you want to visit Hong Kong.  I would certainly be your guide.
