Story Writing (Title: The Incredible Remote Control)
When I woke up that morning, I knew something was going to happen.
On 20th November, 200X, there were rainstorms, thunder and lightning crashing strangely in the mid-air.
I awoke, got up and went out as usual. When I walked to the place that I thought it was a bedroom, I found that I was actually on the sofa opposite to the television in the living room. Suddenly , there was a lightning bolt (or was it an asteroid ?) slammed the window glass and striding towards the television with a loud bang in a blink of an eye. I closed my eyes tightly and I was thrown into the air, landed on a shallow muddy pond. I opened my eyes and saw myself in an unknown place with the remote control. The remote control was beeping some Morse codes which said, “you-are-in-the-t-v,” and “find-me-if-you-can.” and it vanished. Fortunately, I had remembered all the patterns of the Morse code. They were useful to me at that time.
I thought that playing hide-and-seek in the television with a remote control was surely a bad idea, but I had to. I wandered around and saw some dinosaurs, including Pterosaurs, Plateosaurs and Protogathosaurs. I was amazed by the scene once in a blue moon. I was also amazed by the appearance of the three dinos- Plateosaurs, which were in the Late Triassic; Pterosaurs, which were in the Late Triassic to Late Cretaous and Protogathosaurs, which were in the Middle Jurassic. It meant that there was a time clash that caused the dinosaurs to come into the television when I fell into the television at the same time.
Suddenly, I realized that I had to find the remote control or else I might live in the prehistoric rainforest for the whole life. So, I searched and searched but I still could not find the remote control. All of a sudden, I heard some roaring and heavy footsteps drawing nearer. I turned around, and saw a Tyrannosaur Rex from the Late Cretaous behind me. It was about ten metres wide and three metres tall. The T. Rex was chasing me so I ran for my life … until I was nearly out of breath and stopped.
At the moment, I was surprised to find that the remote control was just right in front of me. I bent down, picked up the remote control, pointed it at the T. Rex and pressed “pause”. I pressed the “delete” button towards the dinosaur and it was digitalized. I used the number button on the remote control as a telephone and called the police in the real world so I pressed (852)-999. Soon they came to my home, breaking through the door. They saw me in the television so they phoned the headquarter of Toshiba. The brand’s technician came and took out a small asteroid that looked like a green gem out of the television. He asked me to throw the remote control to him and I did. He rewound the programme as I jumped out of the television successfully.
I thanked the police and they left. Finally, I had an incredible remote control that could control the time even out of the television. I even had a wonderful journey. The best of all, I did not need to go to school on Thursday!
Maybe you will ask me about the small asteroid in the television. Yes. Recently, I observed the green gem when I was sitting on my black swivel chair. After turning anti-clockwise for about 20 rounds. I found that I was in the Qin dynasty (\u79e6\u671d) – there was a flag hanging on an extremely long wall (was it the Great Wall ?). I was amazed. I tried to turn rounds in clockwise to come back to the modern world and… it worked!
