Good morning principal, teachers and fellow schoolmates,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Time files. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>My fellow schoolmates here are about to graduate. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>As the saying goes, Time and tide wait for no man<\/span>. <\/span>\u00a0In no way <\/span>will time<\/span> halt for you, <\/span>not<\/span> even the richest and most powerful person in the world. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>One, however wealthy he<\/span> is, <\/span>can\u2019t wind back the clock. If we don\u2019t manage our time appropriately, it\u2019ll slip away. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Born with a silver spoon in their mouth, many of the people from better off families engage in debauchery <\/span>at their peril.\u00a0 During their life<\/span>, they achieve nothing and live their lives only to seek sensual pleasure. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>They\u2019re but s<\/span>lav<\/span>es to their senses, dedicating their time to pleasing themselves. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Most of them, when <\/span>getting weaker and weaker<\/span> on their death<\/span>bed<\/span>, suddenly realize what they have done throughout their lives is nothing but <\/span>something <\/span>meaningless. Filled with remorse<\/span>,<\/span> they can do nothing but to come to terms with the passing of time. I hope that you can take the example as a cautionary tale to always remind yourselves to make good use of time.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The meaning of life, despite its transience, is independent of time. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>However, in order to live our lives to the fullest, we have to make good use of time. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>A flower sprouts in the morning, but dries up and w<\/span>ithers<\/span> in the afternoon. Yet, during its evanescent life span, it gives out aroma which attracts insects and is essential to <\/span>the <\/span>continuation of its species. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Are we not more intelligent than a flower? <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>If a flower can understand the importance of time and the repercussion of frittering time away, <\/span>why can\u2019t we?\u00a0 <\/span>We should strive in our lives to cherish every second, so as to make our lives fruitful.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Time is a builder and also a destroyer. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Have <\/span>you <\/span>seen a building collapse or a lined face of a woman due to the <\/span>passing<\/span> of time? Have<\/span> you<\/span> heard about scientists being awarded <\/span>the <\/span>Noble Prizes after decades of investigation or athletes breaking world record after years of strenuous and arduous training? To build or to destroy, it depends on your choice<\/span>.\u00a0 <\/span>Time is not biased against nor in favour of anything <\/span>or<\/span> anyone. Every single one of us can benefit or suffer from time. It\u2019s what we do that determines what we will get from time.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dwelling on the past or wild imagination about future will hinder our lives from going on. With the present time in our grasp, let\u2019s live in the moment.<\/span><\/p>\n
