She let us think for a moment and decide. I thought it was a joke, but anyway, it might be fun and I could get a taste of teacher life! Why not then? So I put my hand up along with some boys who loved making jokes out of everything. I thought I wouldn’t stand a chance and by then, Mrs. May Wong pointed at me and said, “Yoyo, it’s your lucky day.” Oh yay! “So, you call me May. Class, let’s greet Miss Yoyo.”

What a surprise! “So I AM teaching,” I said. I giggled and greeted the class. According to the list Mrs. May Wong placed on the table, I should be teaching Longman Elect! Oh, the music chapter, good! But how to start the lessons? I couldn’t figure out how so I chatted with them for a while. Some boys asked me about my age, as if I was a new teacher to them. They also teased me about how I didn’t look like I was an adult and my height. After that, Mrs. May Wong, I mean May put UP her hand. Oh, good, did I do something wrong?

“Miss Yoyo, what are we learning today?” she said. So she was trying to get me on the topic. So I went on about musicals. I explained how things worked in a musical and the people involved. I showed them pictures of famous musical and songs. “So… what do you call people who compose songs? I asked and it was like, dead. My class was dead. Oh God! Teaching was so hard! Then I formed them into groups and whoever loses would got punished. Great! Then everyone was very active, even Mrs. May Wong, I mean May. Then, someone put his hand and he went, “Miss Yoyo, can you sing one of these songs for us?” And “ooh”s and “aah”s filled the 3D classroom. Oh good, teasers and challengers. Being a teacher is so hard! So I turned their request down and they looked at me with adorable puppy eyes, totally begging me to sing. Oh my God! That was so cute xD SO I agreed and Celeste sang a two-part for me in “I dreamed a dream” from Les Miserables and I sang “Think of me” from The Phantom of the Opera. They cheered so loud that Mr. Kung from the end of the corridor walked faster and came to our class.

Mr. Kung looked at me in surprise and scanned the classroom for a teacher. Then he saw Mrs. May Wong sitting on my seat. I froze there, holding a microphone and Mrs. May Wong smiled at Mr. Kung. I thought I was going to DIE! “Oh my God!” I thought. Surprisingly, Mr. Kung smirked and left awkwardly. Then, he went down the stairs. I wiped sweat off my forehead and sighed “phew!” as the whole class laughed for like, 5 minutes. I gave a nervous laugh and continued our lesson. It all went well and at last, Mrs. May Wong asked the boys to select a leader who would be teaching tomorrow. It all ended, good. This was so tiring! Being a teacher is not easy. Luckily, I didn’t have to mark compositions. I hate it when people make a LOT of silly grammar mistakes! I wonder who would be the next “teacher” tomorrow. Ryan? Justin? Gary? Sherlock? I really look forward to it xD. But what is Mrs. May Wong’s purpose anyway? I guess I’ll never know. But one thing for sure is that I had a GREAT time, it was AWESOME! I will tease and make fun of whoever is teaching tomorrow’s double period English lessons like I did today. Stay tuned in the GleekYoTHY channel and you’ll know more. See you guys soon!
