However, have you ever thought that it can make a great chance to us? I think it has a meaningful, positive impact and it adds a little spice in life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-language: ZH-HK;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-language: ZH-HK;\">First, knowing that you help make a better life for someone else can provide personal feelings of worth. We gain satisfaction by helping the needy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-language: ZH-HK;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-language: ZH-HK;\">Second, about the networking, getting involved in community service and volunteer work is a great way to make new friends and professional contacts. You can not only have the chance to work together on something positive, but you can also build relationships that carry over to work and life later.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-language: ZH-HK;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-language: ZH-HK;\">Third, about the skill development, some people get involved in volunteer activities to develop personal and professional skills. For instance, becoming an officer of a local nonprofit organisation can help you develop leadership and communication skills that are useful in many jobs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-language: ZH-HK;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-language: ZH-HK;\">Last but not least, you can give back to your community. Actually, I think it is a win-win situation. We all can get benefits from it. Helping others kindles happiness. Both helpers and the needy will be happy. Also, I think volunteering really brings fun and fulfillment to our life.
