I am a dingy yellow glove puppet.\u00a0 <\/span>I have a pair of glamorous eyes and a fuzz of blond hair.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>I was born in a messy toy factory in<\/span> M<\/span>ainland<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>China.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>M<\/span>y face is rough which always breaks out with pimples.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>As<\/span> I<\/span> have got a disgusting face since I was born, nobody likes me.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>I was a jilted puppet which was thrown over to become one of the consolation prizes in the County Fair.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>The MC in the County Fair put me into a big box with other ‘handicapped ‘ toys. The box was full of sorrow and tears.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0“Are you alright?” I asked my neighbor.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0“I’m sad.\u00a0 Everyone dislikes me, though I am a useful plane, able to fly freely in the sky,” the toy plane burst into tears, “I haven’t got any windows since I was born.\u00a0 I am not pretty at all,” he sighed.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 “Don’t be sad. You’re unique.\u00a0 You’re the creation f God and God will lead your way out…”<\/p>\n

I tried to be cheerful to comfort him though I didn’t know whether God’s plan is trustworthy or not. Actually I felt lonely and cried out loud that time as well.\u00a0 The toys in the box and I were put into the box because of our not-so-good appearances.\u00a0 We have been treated unfairly for a long time.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 Luckily, I always trust in God.\u00a0 I have a pure heart and I pray for everyone.\u00a0 Though I was sometimes picked up and teased by the naughty children who were going to receive the consolation prize, I was waiting for a good master.\u00a0 I chose to be brave. I always shouted to myself, “I am special! I am the one I am!”<\/p>\n

\u00a0 One sunny morning, a miracle happened.\u00a0 When I decided to have sunbathing under the cover of the plastic box, I climbed to the top with my nimble fingers and feet.\u00a0 At that moment, a kind, generous woman called Li grabbed me out of the box. She smiled at me broadly.\u00a0 She brought me to the kindergarten where she taught. From then on, I have been used to helping Li to tell stories to her lovely students .\u00a0 Li loves me so much when she puts her hand inside my body since it is as soft as fleece.\u00a0 I feel delighted and pleased since I am admired by her– a person who really cares about my inner beauty.\u00a0 But most important of all, though I am an ugly guy, I become attractive as I help the children to understand Li’s story better.\u00a0 I am so pleased about it.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 One gloomy afternoon, when I was ‘telling’ a story to the children, I found gleams of sunshine, sparkling in the dizzy afternoon.\u00a0 I looked through the window and saw somebody, flying in the sky freely and happily.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0“Thank you, little puppet!” cried out my neighbor plane.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n
