One night, I was awaken by the sound of distant thunder.\u00a0 As I opened my eyes, I found that I was in a strange place which I had never been to.\u00a0 I looked around that place.\u00a0 I saw a weird but beautiful sky.\u00a0 The sky was violet.\u00a0 Clouds were black.\u00a0 The sun was in the color of blue.\u00a0 I also saw a deep sea, a strange one.\u00a0 The sea was pink.\u00a0 The fish were in the color of rainbow.<\/span><\/p>\n

What about me?\u00a0 I was still in my pajamas.\u00a0 The only thing with me was my doll.\u00a0 I called her Dolly.\u00a0 My father bought me Dolly when I was five, as my birthday present.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dolly was a pretty doll with long hair, glittering eyes and a bog, warm smile on her face.\u00a0 She was a special doll to me.\u00a0 Also, she was a magical doll.<\/span><\/p>\n

After looking around, I was quite sure that I was not on Earth.\u00a0 I was dying to leave this quirky place.\u00a0 As I was thinking what to do, a girl came to me.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her skin was white, as white as snow.\u00a0 Her hair was very long.\u00a0 It almost touched the ground.\u00a0 It was in the color of pale blue.\u00a0 There was a sapphire on her shawl with the left side light blue and the right side dark blue, which covered her long dress which was in the color of azure.\u00a0 She seemed to be a gentle lady.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Hello,” she said, “I’m Sapphire.\u00a0 I am a fairy living in this miraculous place.\u00a0 This place is called Wonderland.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Nice to meet you, Sapphire.\u00a0 I am….”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Oh!\u00a0 Aren’t you Dolly?”\u00a0 Sapphire seemed to be shocked to see my doll.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Yes,” a voice answer, “I am Dolly.”<\/span><\/p>\n

It was Dolly!\u00a0 My doll jumped onto the ground as she answered Sapphire.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Dolly, you can talk?”\u00a0 I was surprised to see my doll speaking and walking.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Hello, master,” she said as she gave me a big, warm smile.<\/span><\/p>\n

She turned to Sapphire and said, “Hi.\u00a0 I am finally back.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Back?\u00a0 You’ve been here?”\u00a0 I didn’t know that Dolly had been here.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Well, master, actually I’m a doll from Wonderland.\u00a0 Seven years ago, I heard a distant thunder and I found that I was in a place called Earth,” my doll explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

“So why can you talk and move?”\u00a0 I was still confused.<\/span><\/p>\n

“In Wonderland, dolls are kind of living things,” Sapphire answered.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Dolls are living things?\u00a0 What a strange place!”\u00a0 I thought.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dolly continued talking with Sapphire.\u00a0 I was perplexed because of the things they talked about.\u00a0 Something like wizards, witches, magic…I really couldn’t understand.<\/span><\/p>\n

Suddenly, I heard Sapphire saying, “Cordelia came here with you and that means you are to offer her a wish, right?”<\/span><\/p>\n

“You are going to give me a wish?”\u00a0 my eyes gleamed, “Dolly, I want to go back home!”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Yes, master.\u00a0 I am to offer you a wish.\u00a0 And if you wish to go back home, I am to make your wish come true,” she replied.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, she started saying the magic spell.<\/span><\/p>\n

I didn’t know why, Sapphire seemed worried when she saw Dolly saying the spell.\u00a0 It seemed that something terrible would happen.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Wait a minute!”\u00a0 Sapphire suddenly cried, “Cordelia, please don’t make your wish now!”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Dolly, stop!”\u00a0 I thought that something terrible would happen when I saw Sapphire’s face.\u00a0 She seemed to be extremely worried.<\/span><\/p>\n

“What happened?”\u00a0 Dolly stopped and asked.<\/span><\/p>\n

I looked at Sapphire.\u00a0 She was trying to calm down.<\/span><\/p>\n

When she finally calmed down, I asked her why I shouldn’t make my wish.<\/span><\/p>\n

She explained, “As what Dolly said, dolls in Wonderland were sent to Earth seven years ago.\u00a0 After investigation, scientists in Wonderland noticed that they were sent to Earth when they heard a distant thunder.\u00a0 As you know, they were sold as toys on Earth.\u00a0 Five years ago, a doll came back.\u00a0 However, her owner came too.\u00a0 Her owner couldn’t find the way to go back home.\u00a0 As compensation, the ruler of Wonderland told the doll to give her owner a wish.\u00a0 Of course, her owner wished to go back home.\u00a0 The doll made her wish come true.\u00a0 However, she disappeared after she had made her owner’s wish come true.\u00a0 No one has seen her since then.\u00a0 The only thing we know is when her owner went back to Earth, there was a distant thunder.\u00a0 We wanted to tell the dolls not to give their owners wishes but giving their owners wishes has became one of the rules in Wonderland.\u00a0 Therefore, the only thing I can do is to tell you not to make a wish.”<\/span><\/p>\n

I was shocked.\u00a0 However, Dolly was not.<\/span><\/p>\n

She said, “I will disappeared.\u00a0 But if my disappearance can make master’s wish come true, it is worth.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Well, I’ve decided to stay here.\u00a0 The view here is great, huh?” Although I said that I would stay because of the view here, actually it’s because I didn’t want Dolly to disappear.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dolly gave me a big, warm smile.<\/span><\/p>\n

Suddenly, we heard someone shouting, “Here she is!\u00a0 The doll is here!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Sapphire said, “Oh no!\u00a0 They are Dolls Hunters<\/em>.\u00a0 They are always catching dolls in Wonderland.\u00a0 They want to catch Dolly!”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Run away!\u00a0 Quickly!”\u00a0 Dolly shouted.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, it was too late.\u00a0 I was caught by the Dolls Hunters<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Master!”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Cordelia!”\u00a0 Dolly and Sapphire were worried.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Don’t care about me!\u00a0 Run away!”<\/span><\/p>\n

“But…master…”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Run away!\u00a0 Quick!”\u00a0 I yelled.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sapphire put Dolly in her arms and started running away.\u00a0 When they were escaping, some of the Dolls Hunters<\/em> wanted to chase after them.\u00a0 However, the leader of the Dolls Hunters<\/em>, Daniel told them not to chase after them.\u00a0 Thank god!<\/span><\/p>\n

However, he shouted, “If you do not come to the castle of Dolls Hunters<\/em> before tomorrow’s sunset, this girl will be killed.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Then he laughed sinisterly, “Little doll, you shall be ours.”<\/span><\/p>\n

I was brought to their castle.\u00a0 The castle was dark green.\u00a0 It was scary.\u00a0 It seemed to be very dirty and untidy.\u00a0 Had the Dolls Hunters<\/em> ever cleaned their castle?\u00a0 There were a lot of spider webs in the castle and I was stuck on one of them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel was an evil wizard.\u00a0 He was wearing a tall black hat and a black gown.\u00a0 There was a scar on his face.\u00a0 And next to him, was his assistant, Perry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Perry was slightly taller than me.\u00a0 He wore the same kind of hat and gown as Daniel.\u00a0 He seemed to be not so good at using his brain but I was quite sure that he was good at using his muscles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel said, “Welcome to our castle.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Maybe we should say thank you to you.\u00a0 Thanks to you, we can get the doll,” Perry said with a sinister smile.<\/span><\/p>\n

“What?\u00a0 You’ve got Dolly?”\u00a0 I was shocked.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Well, we haven’t got the doll but I’m sure that she’ll come–I’m very sure,” said Daniel.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Well, why do you want to catch Dolly?”<\/span><\/p>\n

“As you know, we are Dolls Hunters<\/em>.\u00a0 We are a group of wizards and witches catching dolls.\u00a0 After catching them, we will take them to Earth and come back again.\u00a0 Tehn, they must offer us a wish .\u00a0 And our wish is to become the ruler of Wonderland.”\u00a0 said Perry.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Perry, you idiotic guy!”\u00a0 Daniel shouted, “this is supposed to be a secret.\u00a0 Think before you speak!”<\/span><\/p>\n

“What an impolite guy,” I grumbled.<\/span><\/p>\n

“What? Little girl, I was thinking whether I should give you your own room but since you said that I’m an impolite guy, you will be staying on this web tonight,” Daniel shouted at me.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, they left.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, I stayed on the web, until…<\/span><\/p>\n

“Master!\u00a0 I’m here to save you!”\u00a0 I heard Dolly’s voice.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Dolly!\u00a0 Why are you here?”\u00a0 I whispered, “You’ll be caught by those contemptible wizards and witches.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Never mind, master.\u00a0 I will save you and we can run away,” she gave me a big, warm smile as she started cutting the web with a knife.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sapphire walked to us and said, “I used my magic to make all Dolls Hunters<\/em> faint.\u00a0 But I couldn’t find the\u00a0 leader’s assistant…”<\/span><\/p>\n

Suddenly, I saw Perry.\u00a0 He was yawning.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Hahaha!\u00a0 Tomorrow, we will become the ruler of Wonderland!\u00a0 I am so excited.\u00a0 I can’t sleep,” he said after yawning.<\/span><\/p>\n

I whispered, “Dolly, Sapphire, hide.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Unluckily, Perry heard it, “Did I hear something?”<\/span><\/p>\n

He looked around.\u00a0 Luckily, Sapphire and Dolly had already hidden.\u00a0 Therefore, Perry didn’t see them.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, I heard him saying, “It’s strange, I’m sure that I heard something.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Oh my god!\u00a0 He was walking to our side!\u00a0 Sapphire immediately hid Dolly behind her.\u00a0 Perry saw Spphire.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although he saw her, he just said, “Hello!\u00a0 My name is Perry.\u00a0 Nice to meet you.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Then she turned back and went back to his room.\u00a0 As he was walking, I heard him whispering, “So she is the one who made the sound.”<\/span><\/p>\n

I finally knew the reason why Daniel said that Perry was an idiotic guy.\u00a0 But actually, I was glad that Perry was such an idiot.<\/span><\/p>\n

I realized that Sapphire looked zonked.\u00a0 Probably, it was because she use her magic to make the Dolls Hunters<\/em> faint.\u00a0 Suddenly, the sapphire on her shawl started becoming invisible.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Oh my goodness!”\u00a0 she said, “I don’t have enough magic power left.\u00a0 And that means…”<\/span><\/p>\n

Well, we all knew what would happen–the Dolls Hunters<\/em> woke up.\u00a0 Their leader was the first one coming to us.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Perry, get the doll!”\u00a0 he yelled.<\/span><\/p>\n

Perry didn’t have the brain but he had the muscle.\u00a0 He caught Dolly. Also, Sapphire was stuck onto the web.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The doll is here, sir,” he gave Daniel Dolly.<\/span><\/p>\n

I saw Daniel waving his magic wand.\u00a0 Then, I heard the distant thunder–Daniel and Dolly disappeared.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Where have they gone?”\u00a0 I asked.<\/span><\/p>\n

“They went to your place–Earth,” Perry replied to me.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Why do they go there?”<\/span><\/p>\n

“I wonder why they go there too,” Perry didn’t know the reason either.<\/span><\/p>\n

After a while, I heard the distant thunder again–Dolly and Daniel came back.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Now,” Daniel said, “Little doll, you are to grant me a wish because I’m your owner.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“No,” Dolly shook her head firmly, “I won’t admit you as my owner.\u00a0 Therefore, I won’t give you wish.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel got angry.\u00a0 He shouted, “Perry, show her we’re not kidding.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Perry’s knife touched my neck.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Master!”\u00a0 Dolly was worried about me.<\/span><\/p>\n

“So,” that contemptible wizard said, “Little doll, you have two choices.\u00a0 The first one is to offer us a wish.\u00a0 And the second one, is to see your dearest master’s head falling onto the ground.\u00a0 Which would you choose?”<\/span><\/p>\n

“The doll’s dearest master’s head falling onto the ground.\u00a0 Roger, sir,” the stupid assistant of Daniel misunderstood what his leader was saying.<\/span><\/p>\n

I was in danger.<\/span><\/p>\n

As Perry was about to kill me with his knife, Sapphire called, “No!\u00a0 Don’t kill her!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Suddenly, the time froze.\u00a0 All of the Dolls Hunters<\/em> fainted, except Daniel–he only stopped his movement.\u00a0 I looked around.\u00a0 Sapphire started to disappear!\u00a0 Her magic power was exhausted!\u00a0 I couldn’t say a word when I saw this scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Cordelia, I’m so glad that I met you.. We will be friends forever.\u00a0 Take this sapphire.\u00a0 It will protect you,” she said as she gave me the sapphire on her shawl.<\/span><\/p>\n

“What are you saying, Sapphire!”\u00a0 I stood there like a piece of wood, seeing my friend disappear.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Farewell, my friend,” Sapphire said a tearful goodbye to me<\/span><\/p>\n

She disappeared.<\/span><\/p>\n

I was really shocked.\u00a0 I didn’t think that she would sacrifice herself in order to save me.<\/span><\/p>\n

When Sapphire disappeared, time started to flow again.\u00a0 Daniel was surprised to see all of the Dolls Hunters<\/em> fainted.<\/span><\/p>\n

“What have you villains done?”\u00a0 he roared.<\/span><\/p>\n

He went mad, I thought.\u00a0 His magic wand turned into a sword.\u00a0 He rushed to me and wield his sword.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I’ll have you regret what you’ve done with my minions.\u00a0 I am removing your head.”\u00a0 he yelled.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Master!”\u00a0 Dolly cried.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, she started saying a magic spell.\u00a0 I heard the distant thunder. I was home, safe and sound.\u00a0 Dolly and the sapphire were in my hands.\u00a0 However, Dolly started disappearing.\u00a0 I finally realized what happened.\u00a0 Dollymade my wish come true but that means she…<\/span><\/p>\n

It was a bolt out of the blue.\u00a0 Tears fell from my eyes.<\/span><\/p>\n

“My dearest master, my lord, thanks for everything,” Dolly said as she was disappearing, “I don’t want to disappear but disappearing for someone you love is worth it.”<\/span><\/p>\n

She disappeared.\u00a0 I’ve never seen that big warm smile again.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I was crying, I heard the distant thunder.\u00a0 It was Daniel and Perry.\u00a0 They came to earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

“You made the disappear.\u00a0 And we can’t make our wish come true.\u00a0 As revenge, we’ll kill you,” said Perry.<\/span><\/p>\n

I really didn’t know what to do.\u00a0 No one could help me.<\/span><\/p>\n

Suddenly, the sapphire twinkled and I heard Sapphire’s voice, “Go away!\u00a0 You contemptible wizard.\u00a0 Don’t hurt my friend!”<\/span><\/p>\n

“I won’t let you go, little girl, although you seemed to be having a fairy friend,” Daniel said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel and Sapphire–actually it was Sapphire’s sapphire–started using their magic to fight with each other.<\/span><\/p>\n

At first, Sapphire had the stronger power.\u00a0 However, her power became weaker…<\/span><\/p>\n

And finally, she used her last magic power to send Daniel and Perry back to Wonderland.<\/span><\/p>\n

I heard the distant thunder again.\u00a0 After I heard the thunder, I saw the sapphire shining.<\/span><\/p>\n

I heard a voice, “Cordelia.\u00a0 As I said, this sapphire protected you.\u00a0 But I can no longer protect you.\u00a0 I’ve used up my magic power.\u00a0 I will disappear.\u00a0 Farewell, my friend.\u00a0 This time, it’s the real farewell.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The sapphire disappeared.\u00a0 I had never seen it again.<\/span><\/p>\n

So what about the Dolls Hunters<\/em>? Well, I had never met those wizards and witches again but I thought that they might be put into prison since they had done lots of bad things.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both of my friends who fought against the evil Dolls Hunters<\/em> disappeared.\u00a0 Although I had never seen that big, warm smile or that twinkling sapphire again, I was convinced that the bond between us would never disappear.<\/span><\/p>\n
