Cloudy\u00a0\u00a0 21st<\/sup>April, 2014<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0I\u2019m now in Macau! Yippee!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mum, Dad, Jonathan and I arrived at Macau <\/span>last<\/span> night. We<\/span>\u2019re<\/span> stayin<\/span>g in<\/span> the Holiday Inn in Cotai Central. There are many hotels in that district. <\/span>Each hotel<\/span> ha<\/span>s<\/span>her<\/span> own special design. And all of them are five-star hotels! How luxury! The Galaxy <\/span>H<\/span>otel, the Venetian <\/span>H<\/span>otel, the Hard Rock <\/span>H<\/span>otel, the Crown <\/span>H<\/span>otel, the Grand Hyatt <\/span>H<\/span>otel and the Four Seasons <\/span>H<\/span>otel are the hotels I would like to stay<\/span>.<\/span>A<\/span>nyway, I\u2019m satisfied with Holiday Inn.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This afternoon, we went to some streets with unique names like the Rua Cinco de Outubro. Macau was a former Portuguese colony. Therefore many names of streets in Macau are spelt in Portuguese. Jonathan tried to pronounce it as he thought it was spelt in English. He tried to pronounce the name of the street <\/span>for <\/span>many times but he couldn\u2019t. How adorable!We shopped there and ate some local food like the almond cake, peanut candy and Portuguese egg tarts etc. They were so fascinating!!!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This night, we went to a place that I\u2019ve long been looking forward to\u2014The House of Dancing Water.<\/span>I watched the show and it was wonderful!!! The show beg<\/span>a<\/span>n in the coasts of Coloane. A fisherman travelled with his boat and enjoyed his journey. Suddenly a mysterious energy from the water created a terrible whirlpool and it grabbed him and pulled him to a place and a time of legends. At the same time, a survivor from a ship wreck was brought from a storm. This stranger encountered a beautiful princess who was thrown into a cage by her wicked stepmother and <\/span>they <\/span>fell in love with <\/span>each other<\/span>. The fisherman helped the stranger to fight against the wicked queen. At last, they defeated the wicked queen<\/span> with their joint effort<\/span>. The fisherman became the king. The stranger and the princess <\/span>lived happily ever after<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The show really amazed me! <\/span>T<\/span>he stage pool can hold a record-breaking 3.7 million gallons of water, equivalent to 5 Olympic-sized swimming pools! And 11 hydraulic stage lift are used to transform the pool into a spectacular stage in less than a minute!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What\u2019s more, the show was exciting. There were many record breaking <\/span>tricks<\/span> and special effects. They were really intense. And I appreciate the actress\u2014Faye Leung. She dances really well! She was really elegant! I\u2019ll learn from her. I\u2019ll practice more ballet and improve myself. <\/span>Hope I could<\/span> be a dancer in the future!<\/span>J<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
