His face was seamed with wrinkles and dust. He could not forget what happened on that day. The stope suddenly collapsed. All the miners were then trapped and killed. He didn\u2019t know whether they were dead or not, but he could not hear any groans from them anymore. He thought that he would die very soon, hopelessly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">In despair, he smiled. It was really dark and cramped in the stope, but the gold made the atmosphere somehow sparkling. It was just like the universe, with darkness and a little brightness. He sneered. It was really ridiculous that he was enjoying the sight of the stope at the last moment in his life. He dusted the dirt on his hat which was knitted by his wife. He packed up a piece of gold. Flashbacks and remembrances flashed in his mind.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">Joy and pleasure used to be all he had. He had a wife who was called May. Their love story and romance began at the college. Later, they got married. They admired and loved each other without any reservation. Everything was going so smoothly that it is like a fairy tale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">He smiled, but soon tears ran out from his eye.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">\u2018 No ! No !\u2019 Get away from me !\u2019 May yelled.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Needles fell from May\u2019s hand and the candles were blown away. May was caught when she was pregnant. And that was their second son. May was caught by the police because it was forbidden to have two children. They earned lots of money for Ron. They hoped that this money could save their second son. Sadly, May was still caught by the police. He had no idea that May was caught at that time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">He thought that May was going out . And they finally met in the hospital. He could never forget what atmosphere the hospital was at that time. It was as cold as hell . It was silent, but unpeaceful. His wife lay down on the sickbed. Her eyelid could not open anymore. She dead because of losing too much blood in an induced abortion which was forced by the police. He cried loudly and hugged May, but May could no longer answer him anymore. She was just like a wilted rose. He regretted letting her suffer too much pain. He fisted and cried.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">After May\u2019s death, he put all of his hope on Ron, his only son. Ron was a clever and intelligent student. He was always the bright star in the class. Ron was outstanding. He thought that his tragedy would end, but that\u2019s not the truth. When Ron was twenty years old, he held a campaign with his schoolmates for freedom. Ron wanted too change the rotten \u00a0nation with his strength. He could no longer yield to the corruption of the officials. He succeeded , but only for a while.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">And Ron was killed under the bullet in a revolution which was held in the capital city.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">He cried incontinently. He could no longer forget how his family members <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/hk.rd.yahoo.com\/_ylt=A3eg.83rYZhRikkABbF01Lt_\/SIG=126ftv2n3\/EXP=1368969835\/**http%3a\/hk.dictionary.yahoo.com\/dictionary%3fp=died\" style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: purple; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial;\">died<\/span><\/a><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">. He could no longer forget how much blood May and Ron shed . He could no longer forget how this peaceful country destroyed his life completely.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">\u2018 Clatter\u2026\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">His hand could no longer hold the gold .He passed away with tears, with anger and with despair, but eventually he prayed for all of his companions, who were having the same misfortune like him.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\">It had been two days after he had been trapped underground.
