Last Sunday was a sunny day. The glaring sun light shone to my eyes from the window. I looked at the clock and it was already 10. Usually, my mom would wake me up at 9 and prepared a delicious breakfast for me. Strange! I could not find anything on the dining table yet that time, so I knocked on my mom\u2019s door.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cMum\u2026 are you there? Mum\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cDon\u2019t come in! Just leave me alone please.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
I could smell that something must have happened to mom from her weird voice.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cWhat\u2019s wrong with you? Are you sick?\u201d I was so worried.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cNo\u2026No!\u201d She began to cry.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
I opened the door immediately and I found mom had turned into a 20-cm long dwarf. She just covered herself with a piece of paper.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cAs you see, I\u2019ve become a dwarf,\u201d Mom said sadly.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cDon\u2019t worry, Mom. I\u2019ll take care of you until we find the way to solve this problem.\u201d It was the time I backed her up!<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
What did I do then? I had to find clothes for my mom first of all because she was nude and I was afraid that she would get a cold. Luckily, my sister was still young.\u00a0 She had got a lot of Barbie dolls, so I could easily find clothes for her. After that, I had to cook for my mom. I cooked sausages, bread and eggs but I found that mom\u2019s mouth was too small to eat. Therefore, I cut the food into very small pieces and fed her like a baby. This was quite interesting.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
After lunch, I had a good idea to cheer up mom. I remembered that a long time ago, she told me she had a dream when she was young \u2013 she wanted to fly in the sky just like a bird. So, I went out to buy a lot of balloons, tying them to a basket and at the bottom of the basket, I fixed a long string so that I could control it. Finally, I put her into the basket and her flying trip started. Fantastic!<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
My mom looked at the sky and enjoyed the beautiful view through the window. After a while, she fell asleep with a happy smile. That time, I thought mom would like to be that small forever. Soon, I felt thirsty and I went to the kitchen to get a cup of water. Strange again! I saw the normal-sized mom looking gladly at me. She cooked a great dinner to thank me in the evening.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Although why mom changed size was still a puzzle, I still enjoyed the whole day. I also learnt that when I treated my mom by heart, she could stay happy even in great trouble.<\/p>\n
