One of the characters in the book \u201cMo\u201d got such abilities. It brought him a life-changing experience. He was a book-binder who loved reading very much. Same with Mo, his wife loved reading too. Mo used to read aloud the stories to his wife in the evenings. She enjoyed it very much. Once when Mo read aloud from the book called \u2018Inkheart\u2019, an evil ruler Capricorn, his follower Basta and one of the characters in the book Dustfinger escaped from the pages.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
From the day on, Mo\u2019s wife disappeared. She went inside the book. At that time, Mo discovered that he could use his tongue to bring the character of the book to life. However, it also got the side effect. When one of the characters in the \u2018inkworld\u2019 came into the real world, Mo\u2019s wife was one of the replacers who was innocent.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Unfortunately Capricorn destroyed the book even the copy if Inkheart. He only kept one copy of Inkheart for himself. Afterwards, he caught Maggie\u2019s father, \u2018Mo\u2019 in order to help him summon his subordinate, the Shadow. Shadow was a monster which was sometimes red as fire and sometimes gray as ashes. It was an invulnerable monster.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
After Mo was caught by Capricorn, his daughter Maggie went to save him. She found the manuscript from the author. Accidentally, Maggie discovered that she had inherited Mo\u2019s talent with no side effect. Capricorn soon discovered her talent. He used Maggie\u2019s talent to summon Shadow. Besides, he used Mo and Maggie\u2019s mother to be the offering of Shadow. Maggie was compelled to read aloud the storylines of Shadow. The Shadow then went out from the \u2018inkworld\u2019. Mo and his wife were in danger.<\/p>\n

At last, Maggie was witty. She created a new ending in the manuscript and read it aloud. Finally, The new ending made Shadow betrayed Capricorn and killed him. All the things were back to normal.<\/p>\n

It is a bumpy journey in life. All people have their own difficulties. However, could you face those problems courageously like Maggie? Although she was only twelve years old, what she did was out of her age! She saved her parents and even all the people on Earth. Because of her, Capricorn failed to dominate the world and set up his kingdom. You may think that the tales cannot be compared with real life. In real life, we don\u2019t have any magic or miraculous talent. However, our determination is the most decisive factor in solving problems or facing difficulties.<\/p>\n

I faced my own difficulties before. When I was in the primary school, I was poor in English vocabulary and grammar. I always couldn\u2019t express my feelings in English freely. Therefore, I started the habit of reading English storybooks. By chance, I found a book that was extremely amusing and attractive. However, it got nearly 400 pages. It seemed too thick for me to finish. At that time, I really want to know the story inside. Finally, I still could finish the whole book and that\u2019s the power of our determination.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Just believe that you can do it like Maggie. Nothing is impossible! A twelve-year-old girl still can save her own parents and the world with her valor. When you face difficulties, don\u2019t be a coward. We should learn from Maggie. Maggie and we are the same! Courage and steady determination work like magic. Remember that nothing is difficult in both the earth and the \u201cinkworld\u201d, if you set your mind to accomplish it.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n I love this book very much, not just because its story is interesting, bit it brings out the main idea through an imaginative <\/span><\/p>\n plot with abundant vocabulary. The story was lively. It told us that the words got great power! If you use them in the right way, you may save the world like Maggie. If you use them wrongly, the consequence can be terrible. Like in the real life, sometimes what we say could affect people\u2019s feelings. If those words are positive, they will give others support. However, if those words are negative, you may hurt others deeply or cause serious problems and dire consequences. We should use the words in the \u201cright way\u201d such as giving support and encouragement to people when they are sad.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n After reading this book, I learnt a lesson. The book is very meaningful and related to our real life. An imaginative and heroic story always can be interesting but may not bring out such meaningful lessons. Therefore, I want to share this \u2018Inkheart\u2019 to you. Words got power! It may change people\u2019s mind.
