Dear Ronnie,
<\/span>How are you doing?<\/span> Thanks for your<\/span> letter.<\/span> I\u2019ve miss<\/span>ed<\/span> you so much since you flew to Singapore and a day to me seems like ages. Hope you\u2019re fine in Singapore<\/span>,<\/span> too.<\/span><\/p>\n


You said that you had read 30 <\/span>English <\/span>books so far and I just couldn\u2019t imagine. I\u2019ve only read about 10 books<\/span>, b<\/span>ut I will not surrender. Let\u2019s keep on reading more books and improving our English standard!<\/span>I hope I can catch up with you in 3 weeks. Your English must have improved<\/span> a <\/span>lot when you study in Singapore. But I\u2019m sure <\/span>that <\/span>mine is not worse than yours. Let\u2019s see who<\/span> i<\/span>s better<\/span> 2 months later.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recently, we have just finished the 1<\/span>st<\/span><\/sup> UT. I did <\/span>quite well, but I think there can still be some improvement.<\/span>By the way<\/span>, <\/span>the 1st<\/sup> Exam is coming! <\/span>I must <\/span>bury my head in the textbooks and notes during the Christmas <\/span>h<\/span>olidays. I could feel that tons of pressure is moving closer towards me. I have also participated in <\/span>the<\/span> Academic Progress Scholarship Scheme. My goal of this year is to be in the top 10 in the form.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m surprised that you <\/span>still remember<\/span> the <\/span>school picnic day.<\/span> I <\/span>was <\/span>quite <\/span>disappointed <\/span>that you weren\u2019t there. <\/span>We went to Sai Kung <\/span>Kei Ling Ha<\/span><\/span> this year<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/span>My group took a long time to set up the fire. However, we became more cooperative through this. After the barbecue, our class played some games. The punishment was to perform belly dance. I<\/span> t<\/span>ook<\/span>a<\/span> video of <\/span>the<\/span> performance. Maybe I can show it to you later!<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

I know that you must miss Carmel, the place with our memory filled.<\/span>Actually, <\/span>the dodge ball competition was held on Friday. This year, our class was disqualified because our captain didn\u2019t go to the safety meeting. The sports day was held on Oct 4th<\/sup>-5th<\/sup>. <\/span>The climax was the inter-house relay. <\/span>At last, Virtue House won. It was bad that I was sick on the second day of the sports day, so I didn\u2019t go to school. I think I have missed something special.<\/span> It\u2019s<\/span> a <\/span>pity that you couldn\u2019t participate in the events<\/span> as you are good at sports!<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

As Christmas is coming,<\/span> my<\/span> family plan<\/span>s<\/span> to have<\/span> a <\/span>trip to Singapore in the coming Christmas holiday<\/span>. <\/span>I may be able to visit you then. Would you like to be my tour guide, since <\/span>we<\/span> don\u2019t want to join<\/span> a <\/span>package tour? I <\/span>am <\/span>look<\/span>ing<\/span> forward to seeing you again.<\/span><\/p>\n
