Dear Natalie,<\/span><\/p>\n

Hi! How were you during your Easter holiday? I had been to Hong Kong with my family for three days. It was fun and I love Hong Kong very much! I\u2019d like to describe the whole tour to you.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On the first day, we went to the \u2018<\/span>Avenue of Stars<\/span>\u2019. <\/span>The Avenue of Stars pays tribute to the names that helped make Hong Kong the \u2018Hollywood of the East\u2019<\/span>. <\/span>With commemorative plaques, celebrity handprints, descriptive milestones, movie memorabilia, a life-size statue of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the <\/span><\/span>kung fu<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>action hero Bruce Lee and a bronze rendering of popular cartoon character McDull, the Avenue of Stars fittingly sets the glamour of Hong Kong\u2019s film industry against the captivating dazzle of Victoria Harbour.<\/span> It was so amazing. I took lots of photos there. <\/span>The atmosphere here is always lively, with around 30 performances, including music, drama and dance, organi<\/span>z<\/span>ed each month. <\/span>We also enjoyed the<\/span> multimedia show<\/span>,<\/span> A Symphony of Light.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On the second day, we went to Ocean Park. <\/span>The park is located on the southern side of Hong Kong Island. The Waterfront and <\/span>t<\/span>he Summit areas are connected by the Cable Car and Ocean Express funicular train.<\/span> There are different zones, such as Polar Adventure, Old Hong Kong and Aqua City. My favourite zone is Thrill Mountain. In this zone, we went on lots of rides. We went on the roller coaster, Hair Raiser and the flash. They were very exciting. We all had a great time in Ocean Park. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the evening, we went to the Peak for sight-seeing. The Peak is the highest point on Hong Kong Island. We took the Peak Tram to the Peak. We visited the Peak Tower. It has a large viewing platform called Sky Terrace 428. We enjoyed the night view of Hong Kong there. We also visited the Peak Galleria. It has a free-entry observation deck, as well as shopping and dining options. I know that there is a 3.5-kilometre Peak Circle Walk. However, it was a pity that we did not have enough time to walk.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

On the last day, we went to the Golden Bauhinia Square in the early morning. <\/span>The bauhinia is the emblem of Hong Kong. <\/span>Also,<\/span>it <\/span>was a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>gift<\/span> from the Central Government to mark the 1997 Handover <\/span>which <\/span>stands out as a landmark event in <\/span>the <\/span>20th century history<\/span>. We took photos of the Reunification Monument and enjoyed the daily flag raising ceremony with beautiful Victoria Harbour as a backdrop. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the afternoon, we went to the Ladies\u2019 Market for shopping. I was surprised with over a hundred stalls of bargain clothing, accessories and souvenirs. Do you want to know why the Ladies\u2019 Market is called the \u2018Ladies\u2019 Market\u2019? Let me tell you about this. It gets its name from the huge amount of clothing and accessories on sale for women of all ages. We can also buy watches, cosmetics, bags, home furnishings, CDs and trinkets here too. We bought a lot of souvenirs and accessories for our friends and some for ourselves. They are very beautiful. I\u2019ve bought some for you too.<\/span><\/p>\n

I enjoyed this trip very much. I even did not want to leave! I love Hong Kong so much that I want to go there once more next year for a longer period. Well, I hope you like my sharing of my trip!<\/span><\/p>\n
