The Lion and the Mouse is a fable about the Mouse who was caught by the Lion. He apologized and asked for freedom. The Lion agreed. A few days later, some hunters caught the Lion. At last the Mouse saved the Lion and they were good friends since then.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A few days ago, I heard a piece of news. It made me think of this fable. The news happened a few days ago in Canada. A six-year-old boy was playing football alone in the front yard of his house. He accidentally kicked the football towards the window of his neighbour Mr. Duggar’s. As the window was broken, he immediately ran to Mr. Duggar and apologized. Before he could say anything, Mr. Duggar scolded him.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

“You naughty boy,” said Mr. Duggar “I told you not to kick your football hard but you didn’t listen! Look what you’ve done. You broke my window, I’m going to call the police and put you in jail.”<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Please don’t!” cried the little boy “I’m sorry. I won’t do it again. Please forgive me. I promise I will help you when you get into any trouble.” Mr. Duggar thought for a while. He thought that it might be a good lesson for the little boy to learn from so he agreed.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

A few days later, when the little boy was playing with his dog in the front yard, he saw a strange man creeping into Mr. Duggar’s house through the window. The boy walked closer to the house, he saw that Mr. Duggar was kidnapped by a strange man so he immediately called the police. Soon, the police came and caught the strange man and Mr. Duggar was released.<\/p>\n

Mr. Duggar was very thankful for the little boy’s help.<\/p>\n
